Taiwanese Artists in C21: exhibition of work from the Third Fukuoka Triennale in Blackburn

活動簡介: We are very delighted to inform you about another artistic project that our office has been involved with for the past year in conjunction with the C21 programme.

The C21 programme is the Borough of Blackburn with Darwen's first-ever project to explore contemporary Asian arts and culture. They will be showing the majority of work from 'Parallel Realities: Asian Art Now', the third Fukuoka Triennale, curated by the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, Japan.

The triennale programme showcases the continuous process of research into, and engagement with, art from 21 countries in Asia. We are very excited to let you know that the exhibition contains work by 50 artists, three of whom represent Taiwan. They are Chen Chieh-jen, Tseng Yu-chin and Wu Mali.

VENUES
To engage a variety of audiences the exhibition will ???pread??? over the town with installations in the Museum and Art Gallery, Blackburn Rovers Football Club and Blackburn Cathedral.
